The Stinger 2020 incorporates a momentary or constant-on, body-mounted push-button switch, designed for exceptional durability, having undergone rigorous testing of 1 million actuations. Additionally, a second push-button tactical tail switch provides independent control.

The body-mounted, three-position slide switch allows for easy selection of high, medium, or low intensity, catering to various user needs. Strobe mode can be activated with a double-click from any mode, serving as a disorienting or signaling function.

It is important to note that the Stinger 2020 is not compatible with 18650 batteries. The flashlight offers four distinct operating modes: High, Medium, Low, and Strobe. The High mode delivers a powerful 2,000-Lumen beam with a 315-meter range, running for 2 hours. The Medium mode provides a bright 850-Lumen beam with a 200-meter range, running for 4 hours. The Low mode emits a 100-Lumen beam with a 70-meter range, running for an impressive 24 hours. The Strobe mode, designed for disorientation or signaling, runs for 3.25 hours.

The intuitive mode switch allows for easy selection of High, Medium, or Low, without the need to cycle through the settings to reach the desired mode. This "Set and forget it" feature enhances user convenience.
